Sad news fellow Lions, we have lost a great man and a great Lion. Lion Art Isley was a super man who was honest and straight forward. He served the Lions and his family with great integrity and work ethic. Our heart felt condolenses to his wonderful wife Patty, his son Lion Doug and son Bruce. ISLEY, Arthur (Art) Alfred Born July 18, 1930 in Zealandia Sask. Passed peacefully on October 26, 2011. He will be missed by wife Patty, sons Doug and Bruce, granddaughter Katie, 3 sisters and 1 brother, predeceased by mother and father, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Art arrived in Vancouver in fall of 1948 retired from CP Rail after 38 years. Art enjoyed golfing, curling at Marpole C. C. P. P. and was a long standing member of Vancouver South Lions Club.Thank you to VGH step down unit nurses; Lisa, Meg and especially Stacy. No service by request.
